
In this last couple of decades, the position of females in Indian society has shifted drastically. Nowadays, Women have been playing a critical part in the development of the Indian economy and have made a huge impact and had success in nearly every aspect, services. These companies include :- online banking, e-commerce sites like Amazon, eBay etc that provide a wide range of services for small business owners.
In the hinterlands of this nation, women are grossly under-represented in small business, though they continue to provide the number of work in countries like farming and cottage industries.
Women in commerce are the new phenomenon in India.Women have been a part of the economy for centuries. The number of women entrepreneurs was just 6000 which miserably reduced within this period. The study also shows that there is a significant gap between the female entrepreneur's success rate.
They should investigate the chances of getting new initiative; undertake risks, introduction of new designs, coordination management and regulation of enterprise and offering effective leaders in all aspects of business. It is evident that entrepreneurship growth and management are reciprocal to each other. These women, formed the self resource Group (SHG) with the help of SEVA (individual work voluntary organisation).
To examine the issues encountered by some Indian women entrepreneurs to achieve a sustainable position in the business world in India and how they are inhibited by the masculine community. Likewise, the research would highlight that women entrepreneurs who experienced these tough positions and emerged as successful entrepreneurs by creating a powerful personality of their own in the male dominant community of India providing their credentials in the long run.
Almost half of women entrepreneurs say that the challenge facing their business is the need of free mentors. Mentorship plays an crucial part in producing successful entrepreneurs, for both men and females. Women will also play a significant role for this nation in future. We have so many examples that we can see from the independence to till now. Research has indicated that there is one inherent bias against females as entrepreneurs, where people are less likely to think that females have these skills to accomplish as entrepreneurs.
